Dr. Eric Mowatt-Larssen

Dr. Eric Mowatt-Larssen is certified to treat veins by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.  He is singularly focused on treating venous disease in the Monterey Bay area and the Salinas Valley. He is also credentialed in Vein Ultrasound, and a Fellow of the American College of Phlebology (vein disease).

As a former assistant professor at Duke University, he has been teaching physicians and treating phlebology patients for over ten years. He has published many articles on vein disease, which have been translated and published in France, Germany, Italy and Portugal. He is the editor and author of Phlebology, Vein Surgery and Ultrasonography by Springer Publishing, which is the textbook that physicians use to prepare for the certification exam.

Before his medical career, he was a Navy SEAL officer. He treats a wide range of venous diseases.
